Axioms

This shot was taken in none other but my own garage.  This was taken with a slow shutter speed and a wide aperture to capture more color. The background is in focus and my buddy Josh jumping out of focus.  His motion is captured with a slow shutter speed to capture the motion he is doing.

This shot was taken with a fast shutter speed to capture the motion exactly how it was intended to be captured.

Lincoln is jumping with everything in focus. This was taken with a narrow aperture to capture less light.  Notice the white cars are very very similar even though they are completely different.

This shot was taken with a shallow depth of field.  The background is not in focus so the highlight of the shot and the focus of the shot is Lincoln.  He is looking off in the distance to create a different, mysterious feeling in the photo.

This shot was taken with a fast shutter speed but a medium aperture to make sure Lincoln is in focus but the background is out of focus but not completely blurry.

This shot was taken with a fast shutter speed but the ball is still out of focus.  The ball is in motion and is captured moving.  Lincoln is in focus with his arm moving to capture the idea the ball was thrown by him.
